Wind Quintet: From Dvořák to Gershwin

In connection with the exhibition The Nahmad Collection. From Monet to Picasso, the Opéra de Rouen Normandie invites you on a musical journey through time. Flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn will perform works by Henry Cowell, Anton Dvořák, Samuel Barber, and George Gershwin in an exceptional quintet concert!

  • Henry Cowell – Suite for Wind Quintet
  • Anton Dvořák / Arr. David Walter – String Quartet No. 12 in F major, B. 179, Op. 96 (arranged for wind quintet)
  • Samuel Barber – Summer Music, Op. 31
  • George Gershwin / Arr. Bill Holcombe – Suite from Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess”
